Corfu at a glance
Corfu Town is a UNESCO-listed Ionian capital of Venetian lanes, fortresses and a wide esplanade. The Liston, Spianada, both fortresses, Saint Spyridon, Kanoni, Mouse Island, Paleokastritsa and Mon Repos sit in walkable areas or a short ride apart, with day trips to Paxos, Sidari, Mount Pantokrator and beach villages.
Quick information
Shoulder months suit the Old Town and Paleokastritsa without peak heat. Summer is beach and boat weather; fortress walls need an early start.
