Las Vegas is a desert city of Strip walks, downtown lights and canyon edges. The Las Vegas Strip, Bellagio fountains, Fremont Street, the Sphere, Red Rock Canyon, the Neon Museum, the Mob Museum, the Arts District, Hoover Dam and family-friendly attractions are reached on foot, by the Strip monorail and by road, with day trips to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire. Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) is the catalogue airport. Heat, walking distances on the Strip and one outing at a time matter more than fitting in every show. Gambling is optional entertainment, not the trip’s purpose.
