Paphos at a glance
Paphos is a western-Cyprus base of archaeological sites, a working harbour and easy access inland. The Archaeological Park, Tombs of the Kings, Paphos Castle, the harbour, medieval baths, mosaics, Coral Bay, Petra tou Romiou, the Akamas Peninsula and Agios Neophytos Monastery sit around Kato and Ktima, with day trips to Limassol, Troodos, Polis and Nicosia.
Quick information
Shoulder months suit mosaics, harbour walks and Akamas without peak summer heat. Summer is beach weather; winter is quieter for archaeology and monastery visits.
