Rimini at a glance
Rimini is an Adriatic beach city with a walkable Roman and Renaissance centre. The Old Town, Tiberius Bridge, Arch of Augustus, Piazza Cavour, Castel Sismondo, Tempio Malatestiano, the Fellini Museum, Borgo San Giuliano, the beach promenade and Italia in Miniatura sit between sea and historic streets, with day trips to San Marino, Ravenna, Bologna, Santarcangelo and Gradara.
Quick information
Early summer and September suit the beach and Old Town without peak August heat. July and August are busy; use shade and follow bathing flags. Winter is quieter for Roman monuments.
