Tel Aviv at a glance

Tel Aviv is a Mediterranean city of beaches, markets, cafés and modernist architecture. Jaffa, Carmel Market, Neve Tzedek, Rothschild Boulevard and the White City are walkable, while the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Yarkon Park, Florentin and Sarona reward short bus, bike or taxi rides. Jerusalem, the Dead Sea and Caesarea work as separate day trips.

Budget travelAccommodation and restaurant choices drive costs most strongly. Check prices shortly before your trip instead of relying on a fixed estimate.

Milder months suit beach walks, Jaffa and White City streets without peak summer heat. Summer is beach weather; reserve indoor hours for the museum, markets and cafés during the hottest part of the day. Check current official travel advice before you go.
