Warsaw at a glance

Warsaw is a rebuilt capital of parks, museums and a changing skyline. The Old Town, Royal Castle, Market Square, Royal Route, Palace of Culture and Science, Łazienki Park, POLIN, the Uprising Museum, Copernicus Science Centre and the Vistula Boulevards sit in several districts rather than on one walking loop, linked by metro and tram. Wilanów, Żelazowa Wola, Modlin Fortress, Kampinos and Łódź work best as separate day trips. Most visitors arrive at Chopin Airport (WAW).
